Step One

Start the Training Loan Application Form

• This form is divided into five (5) sections
• Please follow the instructions in each section until the application form is completed
• All questions are mandatory
• You are not required to complete the application form in one sitting
• You may use the “Save Application” button and return to the application form later

Step Two

Gather Required Documentation

Please note that the following items, where applicable must be uploaded online.

• Digital Photo of Applicant - A photo of 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm) on a clear background is required.
• One (1) Valid Government Approved Identification (National ID card, Barbados Passport, or B’dos Drivers’ License)
• Copies of MOST RECENT Academic qualification(s).
• EVIDENCE to show your ability to cover shortfall between *total cost of programme and the maximum amount SRLF might lend. (e,g Award of Scholarships, Sponsorship from Government, Certificate of savings or approved loan from Financial Institution). Please see SRLF Loan limits.
• If employed, Personal Statement of Affairs, Payslip , Job letter must be provided.
• MEDICAL certificate. The original document must be surrendered to SRLF. (Except self-financing applicants)
• Proof of Address (recent bill or document received in the Mail).

Step Three

Submit Training Loan Application Form

• After submitting the application form, you will not be able to make any further changes. Your application will be reviewed by a member of our team and updates will be provided via email.

Step Four

Complete Survey

• After successfully submitting all documentation, you will receive an automatic email as part of the assessment for the course asking you to complete a Plum assessment. This assessment must be completed within 48 Hours the email will come from our Canadian partner Protexxa.
